Privacy notice

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, enquiry type and message. When you apply for a role, we collect your name, contact details, application message, CV and the role you selected. We also process limited technical and security information, such as IP address, browser information and human-verification results, to protect our forms and services from abuse.

Why we use it

We use contact information to respond to enquiries and manage the resulting business relationship. We use application information to assess your suitability for the selected role, communicate with you about your application, and consider you for relevant opportunities where you have asked us to do so. We do not use website submissions for unrelated marketing without an appropriate basis and notice.

Who processes it

Access is limited to authorised Newtone personnel and service providers that support the website, recruitment workflow, email delivery, cloud hosting, storage, optional analytics and abuse prevention. These providers currently include Google Cloud, Firebase, Google Workspace, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Cloudflare. Personal data may be processed outside Singapore; where this occurs, Newtone takes steps intended to provide protection comparable to the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act.

Analytics and your choices

We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager only after you select “Allow analytics”. It helps us understand page visits, scrolling, outbound links, downloads and whether a contact or application form was started or successfully submitted. Analytics events identify only the form category; names, email addresses, role references, messages, uploaded CVs and other form contents are not sent to analytics.

Your choice is saved in your browser so the website can respect it on later visits. Use the preference control below to allow or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting analytics does not affect the website forms or other essential features.

Retention

Website job applications and uploaded CVs are retained for up to 24 months from submission. Contact enquiries are retained for up to 12 months from submission. Security and operational logs are generally retained for 30 days. A longer period may apply where reasonably required for an active matter, legal obligation, dispute or legitimate business record; data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Email copies delivered to authorised Newtone mailboxes are managed under Newtone's internal records and access controls and may not be removed by the website's automated retention process.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access or correct personal data held about you, withdraw consent for future use where consent applies, or raise a question or complaint. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out and may limit our ability to continue an application or respond to a request.

Protection and changes

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including restricted administrative access, private CV storage, server-side human verification and throttling. No internet service can eliminate all risk. We may update this notice when our practices or legal obligations change; the date above identifies the current version.
