Software testing Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Test Engineer to support software quality assurance for large-scale enterprise IT projects. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and business users to ensure applications meet functional requirements, quality standards, and operational expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, scripts, and test reports.

• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects to ensure timely resolution.

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Perform API testing and support automation testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Playwright.

• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and validate system integrations.

• Maintain testing documentation and ensure traceability to business requirements.

• Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

• 1–2 years of software testing or QA experience is advantageous; candidates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome.

• Good understanding of manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or TestRail.

• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API testing.

• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Playwright is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience in enterprise, government, or mission-critical projects is a plus.
