Technical System Analyst (Java / Microservices)
You will work closely with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and support teams to understand systems end-to-end, investigate complex issues, and ensure solutions are technically sound and operationally reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze system requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and implementation requirements.
Support application development, enhancements, defect fixes, testing, and implementation activities.
Investigate complex issues across microservices, APIs, messaging platforms, and databases.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend practical technical solutions and system improvements.
Work with developers and architects to understand dependencies, integration flows, and solution impacts.
Review requirements and identify technical gaps, risks, dependencies, and integration considerations.
Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, system flows, API/interface specifications, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in software development, systems analysis, application engineering, or a similar technical role.
Good programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript and/or Node.js.
Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and system integration.
Experience analyzing logs, debugging applications, and tracing end-to-end system flows.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Solace, Kafka, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to work across development, business, and infrastructure teams.
Nice to Have
Java with Quarkus or Spring Boot and Angular/AngularJS experience.
Oracle Database and advanced SQL knowledge.
Experience with Keycloak or identity/access management technologies.
Exposure to CI/CD, Docker/Podman, and modern DevOps practices.
Experience working on large-scale enterprise or government systems.
